Nishesh

Nishesh is an upcoming child actor in Tamil cinema. He got his first break in a film “ Pasanga 2 Click to look into! >> Read More... ” which was directed by Pandiraj. The film was produced by actor Suriya and Pandiraj and was made at a moderate budget of Rs 5 crores but grossed a net of Rs 50 crores worldwide. Hence, the film was a successful launch pad for the child actor Nishesh (Nishesh Abilash). He played the role of Kavin in the film and enlightened the viewers. It is said before zeroing on the actor Nishesh, director Pandiraj was searching for a new child face to play the role of Kavin for 'eight' months. Even actor-cum-filmmaker Suriya went through 50 scripts before approving the project as he felt this children film would have a social message to deliver.

Director Pandiraj met 150 children and took audition but felt satisfied with Nishesh. Nishesh was asked to give an audition and he was put through camera test before assistant director Vallikanth and later director Pandiaraj too handled Nishesh for the audition. Before making his debut in the film, the child artiste appeared in an advertisement for Pothys which featured many kids in a Durbar and he played the role of a messenger in it. Nishesh is an avid watcher of the movie be it Bollywood, Hollywood, and even Kollywood.

He is an ardent fan of Ajith, Vijay, and Dhanush. He loves watching ‘James Bond’ movies and would continue to take up acting seriously when he grows up. This child actor likes to become even an astronaut and is inspired by Neil Armstrong. He shot the movie ‘Pasanga 2’ at a stretch for four months and he was given permission by his principal for a continuous leave of 4 months to complete the shooting in a tight schedule.

While he was shooting for this movie, Nishesh was studying in 5th standard at Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya. Apart from Nishesh, the film had two more kids namely Vaishnavi and Aarush. After the success of ‘Pasanga 2’, Nishesh was offered another movie project titled ‘Sanguchakkaram’. In this movie, 10 kids have been featured including Nishesh.
