T Ramalingam, also known as Thangavel Ramalingam, is a Tamil art director who has been associated with movies including Kaala, Rangoon, Pugazh, Madras, Maya, Nagesh Thiraiyarangam, Attakathi, Vadacurry etc. T Ramalingam is an ardent fan of superstar Rajinikanth. He has drawn the face of the ace actor several times. Ramalingam has been associated with Therukooththu too and has revived it. He passed out from Government Fine Arts College, Chennai.
Ramalingam belongs to a farming family in Peravur in Villupuram district. His family was associated with folk art for years together. Ramalingam has worked on over 10 Tamil movies.
