Anita Udeep is a Kollywood producer, director, and writer. Basically, she is an engineering graduate from Venkateswara Engineering college, Chennai with a specialized course in Film and TV production from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She completed her 3-year degree course in film and TV production order to make a break in movies. In abroad, she had produced short films like ‘Flowery Thorn’ and ‘OM’ that won her critical acclaim. She got associated with DreamWorks after completing her master degree. After that, she got the opportunity to work with director Stephen Spielberg and his crew for a science-fiction series named ‘
’. She was selected to work for even Dreamworks Animation and had done two short films too. Anita Udeep directed her first project titled ‘Kulir 100 degrees’ that bombed at the box office.
The film was released in 2009. After this project, one could not see her association with any other project. The film aimed at young generation interest, but the narration of the movie was not that enough to click on Anita’s vision? It is true Anita wanted to make her space in the film industry that is dominated by men alone but herexit from the industry did not get much recognition. With an interesting maser degree in TV and Film production, Anita could have easily chosen women-centric films which might have gone well with the critics and viewers too.
