Madhu Mailankody is a famous sports television anchor. She was born and nurtured by Savithri G Bhat and Ganapathi Bhain at “Mailankody” in the Kasargod district of Kerala. She studied at Little Lilly English Medium Senior Secondary School. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Agnes and pursued her post-graduation in Agriculture at St. Aloysius.
Mailankody started a career in anchoring in 2015 when she was a ground MC in the Karnataka Premier League. She also participated in the Mangalore Premier League. She rose to fame in 2017 when Star Sports appointed her as an anchor for the Indian Super League (ISL), a premier football league. Being a polyglot, she hosted events in different languages in Mangalore. She is also called “an anchor sans borders” by many. She has also participated in the Premier Badminton League (PBL) and Indian Premier League (IPL). Besides anchoring, she also did a Tamil movie in 2020 - Mookuthi Amman.
