He was born on 5 July 1920 and worked hard to become a self-raised famous Indian personality through hard work and self-confidence. Kalaimamani Dr. G Umapathy was the founder of Shanti Theatre and Anand, the first 70 mm Theatre in South India. A prominent politician, Umapathy was well-known in politics, the industrial sector, and among critics. Dr. G Umapathy was the editor of Pudhia Uma, a Tamil magazine, and founded Uma Printers.
