DG Gunanidhi, also known as Gunanidhi, is a renowned figure in the Tamil film Industry. He is a native of Tamil Nadu and resides in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Gunanidhi is Dr. Ramadoss's grandson, the party leader of Pattali Makkal Katchi. He completed his studies at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Institute, Tamil Nadu, in 2013 and is an MBBS graduate. He was attracted to theatres since childhood and had joined various theatre labs and participated in many street plays and dramas in his school and college days. He was first featured in a 30-minute short film, Stroke of Dissonance, a psychological thriller about the struggles of a violinist before entering Tamil cinemas.
Gunanidhi got married in 2022 to Sahana. He is an Indian actor and a producer working predominantly in the Kollywood or Tamil film Industry. He debuted in the industry with the film Selfie in 2022, directed by Mathimaran and produced by him. Gunanidhi played the lead role in the movie along with GV Prakash and Varsha Pollama. The film genre was crime and thriller and, it received a good response from the audience. He is an active member of the movie production company DG Media Group.
