Kochu Preman

Kochu Preman is a noted, popular and famous actor who acts in the Malayalam films and is mostly seen playing comical characters. Kochu Preman is the actor’s screen name or the stage name and is real recordial name is K.S. Premkumar. Kochu Preman was born on June 1st 1955 to parents Kamaramathil Shivaraman Shastri and T.S Kamalam in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Kochu Preman completed his education from M.G.College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. From his college days, he became interested in acting and gradually became passionate about the same. After completing his college education, Kochu Preman was associated with a theatre group for 18 long years named Kalidasa Kala Kendram. In the year 1995, he got an offer for acting in films and made his debut as an actor in the Malayalam movie Dilliwala Rajkumaran. Preman’s performances in a character with a comic touch were well liked and appreciated by both the audiences, directors and producers. K.S.Premkumar then took the screen name Kochu Preman and went to star in over 100 Malayalam films till date.
