Achu Sugandh

Santhwanam's Achu Sugandh became a household name with the character Kannan in the show. However, just like other actors, the road to success wasn't simple for Achu. The actor struggled much from working at a petrol pump to following his passion as an assistant director.  Born into a middle-class family, Achu was determined to pursue his passion for acting. He still remembers the days where he went after people requesting an opportunity to work. Once that was unsuccessful, He decided to travel for mimicry. Actor Dileep was his idol. He decided to follow his path and dream of becoming a mimicry artist, then moving to cinema. Later, Achu managed to become an assistant director in a movie.  However, the acting aspirant couldn't adjust for long. 

Later, Achu joined the popular show, 'Vanambadi', as an assistant to director Adithyan. After a while, he became the permanent associate director of the show, due credit to his exertions. While working as an Assistant Director, he got an opportunity to appear in a very cameo role. His passing role Pappikunju was noted by the audience. Later he got his breakthrough with Santhwanam. The role of Kannan, which he played in the serial Santhwanam, got vast responses from the viewers. Most of the scenes with co-actors Sajin and Girish went viral. This serial began broadcasting on Asianet Channel.
