Ayurveda is a priority in the Hindu Dharam; treating patients with the art of Ayurveda is one of the works that Swami Nirmalanand does. With this, he also preaches Hindu Dharma most holy Book Bhagavad Geeta and Upnishads, which provides a way of living. Swami Nirmalanand was born in 1931, and he died at the age of 86 on 16th February 2017. He was famous for his excellence in treating patients throughout Kerela because he had both traditional and cultural knowledge about the medicines.
He came to Kerela from Varanasi in his early 80’s. He lived in Paliyilmadom in Kayarampara in Pallapuram, Ottappalam, near the bank of the river Bharathapuza. In his ashram, people from any corner of the world are treated without any discrimination. He had earned a very good reputation in the state because of his supremacy in the field.
