Singer Rituraj, also known as Richu, Richutta, and Richukuttan, was born in 2012 in Calicut, Kerela. His father's name is Jeevaraj TD, and his mother is Niji. He also has an elder sister. He started learning music at four years old from various music gurus like M. Jayachandran and Pt. Ramesh Narayan. He is a member of the first kid's music band of five members in Kerela, known as Windchimes. The names of the other members are Krishnaditya, Sreehari, Teertha, and Sreelakshmi.
He launched his official YouTube channel in January 2021 to post his Bhajans and Malayalam song covers. He gave auditions for a TV reality show, Superstar Singer 2, judged by
