PK Medini

PK Medini was born in 1933, to Kangali and Papi, she is the youngest of twelve children. She was born at Puthanpurakkal in Cheeranchira, Alappuzha. She is a revolutionary Singer, Stage artist, and one of the few living freedom fighters in India. She is a leader of the communist party. She is a revolutionary Singer. At those times, P K Medini, Thomas, K.R Gouriamma, and R.Sugathri Medini were regular singers at the reception programs held by leaders and others. Songs are more attractive than speeches. Therefore, Medini's vocals are most frequent during lectures. Medini is a renowned activist in Kerala.

Medini's voice is like a loudspeaker, and it attracts people. Her songs just have reverberated with every people from Kerala. The act "Sandesam" was performed on more than two hundred stages with Ketamangalam. In the movie "Vasantathi Kanal Vaishna," she acted as a female lead and was released in 2014. In that movie, she composed music and sang background music. She sang songs like Through the Burning Summer in 2014 as a revolutionary singer. Medini worked as Alappuzha Mannancheri Panchayat President, Block Panchayat President, CPI District Committee member, and National Executive Committee Member of NFIW. She received many awards, including Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award, TN Kumaran Memorial Award, Popular Singer Award, and Campissery Award.
