Sharon Joseph

Sharon Joseph is an Indian playback singer and lyricist. She is also an author of the thriller genre. She was born on July 17, 1989. She was brought up in Pune, Maharashtra but she was born in Kottayam, Kerala. She was born into a Roman Catholic Syrian Christian Family. She got married to Dr. Joseph George. She started learning music at the age of 4. She learned Carnatic music under the guidance of Mrs. Meenakshi Subramaniam. She can sing in six different languages, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi and English. She writes her lyrics in English and Hindi language. She has made significant contribution to the music industry.

She started her career as a playback singer in the movie Hangover(2014). She has made her debut as a lyricist in the song Pala Naalaayi(2016). Before she started her career in music, she was working in Pune. She did her Post Graduation in Business Administration. She has sung for many Hindi Devotional albums. She sings in genres like World, Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, Melody, Folk and Gospel. She is also a Radio Jockey. Her debut thriller novel was Terrors Of Midnight. She was awarded with the Rabindranath Tagore Literature Award for Terrors Of Midnight. Some of her albums are Paavan Aatma(2020), Madhurorma(2019), Manwah(2019), There Is No Goodbye(2018), Let’s Take A Break(2017) etc. Some of her songs are Mystery(2022), Sound Of Love(2021), Mathurapathinezhukaari(2021), Etho Janma Kalpanayil(2021), Mausam(2021), Araaro(2019), Enthanee Mounam(2019) etc.
