Radhika Sethumadhavan

Radhika Sethumadhavan is a famous playback singer, teacher, and music educationist, widely known as one of the finalists in the music reality show Star Singer Season 1. She is known for working in Malayalam films like Ayal Njanalla (2015), Godha (2017) and Bolivia (2019). She is trained in various genres like Western Classical, Jazz, Rock and Pop, Hindustani, and Carnatic music. Radhika Sethumadhavan hails from Kerala and graduated with a biotechnology degree from Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore. She has also pursued an MBA in Marketing from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). In 2009, she completed a foundation course in music and was part of choral recording for A.R. Rahman’s compositions, and in 2012, she got her degree in music from the Bangalore Conservatory.  

Radhika Sethumadhavan is also certified by prestigious musical institutions like the Berklee College of Music, USA, and Trinity College, London. In 2010, she founded her music academy Soul of Music, to train students who are passionate about music. For 12 years, she is also one of the curriculum developers at Shankar Mahadevan Academy. Apart from being a teacher, she also does song covers of many famous songs on her social media handles.
