R Somasekharan is a well-known Malayalam Singer, Music Composer, and Music Director. He was born in Kochi, Kerala. He has worked in Malayalam Music Industry for more than 48 years and has given music for several hit tracks. His first song was released in 1971, after which he had given several hits to Mollywood movies. Most of his artworks are in the Malayalam language. Some of his best masterpieces that bought him a name and fame are the movies Ithum Oru Jeevitham, Jaathakam, Aardram, Venalkkaalam, Brahmaasthram, and Mr. Pavanaayi 99.99, Ayaal, Thureeyam, and Ee Abhaya Theeram. R Somasekharan’s last hit to the theatres was Kshanam in the year 2021.
