Srinda was born on 20 August 1985 in Kochi, Kerala, India. She is an Indian film actress by profession. Srinda preferably works in the Malayalam film industry. Srinda even worked in both the Tamil and Kannada film industry. She did her primary and secondary education from St. Mary's Anglo Indian Girls High School, Fort Kochi, Kerala, India. For her secondary education, she shifted to Palluruthy for her Higher Secondary School Certificates, and later at the Sacred Heart College, Thevara. She got married at a young age of 19, and the couple has a son together.

Srinda was passionate about movies, photography, and all sort of things from a very young age. Then she started working on it. Soon she got bored with her job and shifted herself from a film career as an assistant director. She even tried her luck in anchoring but felt his heart wasn’t in it. She visited for modeling purposes for the products liked hair oils and different jewelry brands. Srinda was first noticed by a director, named Dileesh Nair. Dileesh was the one to introduce her to Aashiq Abu. Her first debut in movie was Abu's 22 Female Kottayam, in which she enacted the role of a friend as the lead character.
