She is an actress of Indian origin who is known for her roles in various Malayalam movies. Sreeja is forty-four years old and at present lives in Chennai. She has acted in only a few movies but her acting in the movies ‘Indrajaalam’ and ‘Cheriya Lokavum Valiya Manushyarum’ got her everyone’s attention and her acting skills were appreciated for the same. She was educated in the Karthika Thirunal Government Vocational Higher Secondary School for Girls, in Thiruvananthapuram. Her parents were already working in the television industry, and Sreeja acted in a few TV serials with them before she stepped into the movie industry. Sreeja had predominantly worked in Malayalam film & television industry from 1989 to 1994. Before entering into the film industry, she had appeared in a few dramas with her parents. After making a debut as a child artist in 1982 with the Malayalam film “Nidhi,” Sreeja appeared in the Malayalam romantic comedy film “Mutharamkunnu P.O.,” directed by Sibi Malayi in 1985. In 1987, she acted in the film “Oru Maymasa Pulariyil,” co-written and directed by V. R. Gopinath. The same year, she starred as Chithra in the Tamil comedy film “Purushanai Kaikkulla Pottukkanum,” directed by Balanna.
