Chanchal Hari

Chanchal is an Indian Actress known for her work in the Malayalam film industry. Her father is Krishna Babu and mother is Usha and an elder sister Sheetal. She's also an accomplished classical dancer as she was among the tallest Malayalam actress at that time. She played a parallel lead in Ennu Swantham Janakikutty, released in 1998 for which she is famous. She played the role of Kunjathol as the ghost in Hariharan film.

As she has silver eyes, she played this role very well. As she gained name and fame from this movie, she wanted to dedicate her life to the world of dance. Nowadays, she runs a dance academy in Cary, California, as Kalaangali School of Arts. This school is dedicated to Bharatnatyam and Indian Semi-Classical Dance. After this, she also hosted many television shows.

During 1998-1999 she was also seen in two more movies Ormacheppu in 1998, which was directed by Lohitadas and Rishivamsham in 1999, which was directed by Rajeev Anchal. She hasn't done many films, but yet she's now remembered as her lead role as the ghost. When she accepted this role, she was already an accomplished model. She started modeling in early 1997. She was also the host of the show Sensations in Surya TV. After her marriage to Harishankar, she left Mollywood and settled down in the US. Now, she's having two kids, Nila and Nihar.
