A noted actor who predominantly works out his best for Mollywood industry and shows great potential through his works is one and only Vijilesh Karayad. As of now, he has been portraying many supportive roles in nearly about 12 films. He made his debut on the silver screen with “Maheshinte Prathikaaram,” which is directed by Dileesh Pothan, one of the best directors. Vijilesh is such a gifted actor who could possibly do any role assigned to him. After the success of the movie Maheshinte Prathikaaram, he has worked for more than a dozen films in Malayalam in the past three years which includes “Varathan,” “Theevandi” and many more. He faced a major challenge while shooting for the movie Varathan but succeeded in his role.

Whatever role he performs in movies, his heart lies in theatre always. He completed his master’s degree in drama and theatre from Kaladi Sreesankara University even before he forced for any role in films. He joined theatre when he completed his higher studies and along with his friend Rajesh, who has done many hit plays like Jalebi and Kannadi which were staged for more than 1000 times in theatres and has been highly appreciated by the spectators. His experience from theatre came very handy at times when he is assigned to a role which challenges him. When he played the main villain in Varathan, he received appreciation messages and he feels blessed that he could bring out such roles to life.

He was encouraged by one of his college professors to participate in mono-act and when he started performing he felt very good and made it a regular thing. His group performed many skits at various locations and he loved it. When he was a kid, he used to think that one day he also will be a great star, so he applied to every advertising company for the audition. He felt that there could be no chance he could ever be on big screen but now he is considered as one of the upcoming great actors. His journey was not as easy as it looked. He faced many rejections and failures but never gave up and that what counts and at the present time his talent speaks enough.
