Born in the year 1985, this twenty-nine year old is a model turned actress. From Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, she mainly works in Malayalam films. She wanted to be a lecturer in a college, but destiny had it all worked out otherwise. Priyanka started acting in college just for the sake and little did she know that she would turn into a full-fledged actress.

Having started with small screen serials in college, she began with Thaarattu. After a few more serials, she plunged into the big screen. Her debut in movies was in Tamil with the film Veyyil in the year 2006, where she plays the role of Thankam. She has acted in Tholaipesi as Anitha in Tamil, followed by Thiruththam. Her role as Zahira in this Tamil movie, the year was 2007. 2007 also saw this actress start her Malayalam movie, and her debut in this language saw her in Kichamani MBA. She portrays the role of Kalyani in this movie. The year 2008, Priyanka was seen in the film Vilapangalkkappuram as Zahira. This film won her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for she has done this role very efficiently. Bhoomi Malayalam followed in 2009 where she was seen in the role of Annie Joseph in this movie. Samastha Keralam P.O, directed by Bipin Prabhakar, she essays the role of Radha. Keshu saw her as Shalini in this film. was her next film, and she plays the role of Betsy Varghese. This movie went on to be a box-office hit and was critically acclaimed.

2011, Priyanka acted in Orma Mathram opposite Dileep. She plays the role of Safiya in this film. She has acted in Pottas Bomb in 2013 directed by . 2014, Priyanka has Jalam in her kitty.

Not only has she acted in Malayalam and Tamil, but a Kannada movie too. This Physics Graduate is married to a movie director Lawrence Ram. She married in 2012. They have a son Mukund Ram, who is about two years old.
