K Madhavan

K Madhavan was a renowned managing director & businessman associated with the Mollywood Film Industry. He was a science student & enthusiastic with his innovations since school time. Madhavan was a versatile person and has taken many degrees. He graduated from Bangalore University with a Bachelor of Science in 1973. After that, he has taken many degrees from various institutes like Managerial Skills for Professional & Executive from the Indian Institute of Science in 1987, R&D Management from the Indian Institute of Management in 1997, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1999 & many more. Madhavan started his career as a management trainee in the rubber industry and joined Karl On Company in Bangalore in 1997.

The year 2006 came out to be a fantastic year for him as he became the president of Operations at Karl On in 2006 & he has completed over 30 years of experience in the mattress company. In 2006 he also became the founder of Peps Industries. In 1999 Madhavan joined Asianet, the regional brand of south India as a director & took charge of the company as MD & CEO in 2000. Asianet was a struggling channel when Madhavan joined it, so he ensured that the track became the undisputed market leader in Kerala.

In 2008 he joined Asianet with the Star Network brand &Asianet became the most successful channel in the Middle East and the most prominent Malayalam channel in Europe and America. After that, Madhavan involved in many business ventures of Star in four southern states and the portfolio of many regional channels in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil & Telugu.
