Thanveer Gaffoor

Thanveer Gaffoor is a Managing Director from the Malayalam film industry. He is the Managing Director of the company BMG Animations. The company is a powerhouse in the media and animation sector and is one of the largest animation production houses in South India. It creates, develops, and distributes animated content across many media platforms.

Later, he was employed as the Chief Designer at NEST, Kochi. He then started his own business after the death of his father, Sri B.M. Gaffoor, a renowned cartoonist. His first work was a daily political animation series for Kairali TV – ‘Kunhamman,’ the first daily animation series in Malayalam television.

At present state, BMG produces animation and media content for all major television channels, including Asianet, Mathrubhumi, Media One, Reporter TV, Indiavision, Jeevan TV, and many more. The company has also launched channels exclusively for kids, which include Kochu TV, Chintu TV, Khushi TV, Chutti TV along with major channels like CNBC Arabia, Sony TV, Times Now, and Qatar Television, all of these aside from 69 local cable channels across the world. BMG has also worked with many corporate companies like Emirates NBD, Aster, SUN Network, and many more. It has produced animation series in various languages, including all south Indian languages, English, Hindi, and Arabic. It has produced almost 60,000 animation episodes for different television channels.
