Shibeesh K. Chandran is an Indian film editor. He was born on 12th December 1982 in Thrissur, Kerala. He finished his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Kothamangalam. Chandran began his career in the film industry as an assistant editor and began his editor profession. He worked with many films like Unda, Kumbalangi, Thondimuthalum, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and Em.Ma.Yau. He is known for his rhythms and pace in the films he edits, which enhances the storytelling.
In 2017, Shibeesh won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor for his contribution to Ottamuri Velicham. Apart from feature films, Shibeesh has also worked on several documentaries and short films. He is known for his attention to detail and his ability to work closely with directors to bring their vision to life on screen.
