Vinod Veerakumar is a cinematographer in the Mollywood film industry. He was born and brought up in Kerala. Vinod completed his diploma course in cinematography from Satyajit Ray Film & TV Institute in Calcutta. Since 2007, he has been working in the film industry. In 2017, he worked as an associate professor in the Department of Cinematography at KR Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Arts.
In 2013, he handled the camera for the short The Last Day, directed by
Siddhartha Gigoo

. In 2015, he worked as a cinematographer for the short, Goodbye, Mayfly. The film was directed by Siddhartha Gigoo. In 2017, he worked as the cinematographer for Daivakanam: The God Particle, directed by Prashanth Nair.
