Alagappan N is an Indian cinematographer, film director and producer in Malayalam cinema who was born on November 30th,1957 in Thiruvananthpuram. He made his directorial debut in the movie Pattam Pole in 2013. In 2013, he made his directorial debut in the Malayalam romantic film Pattam Pole.
He started his career as a Television program Venalinte ozhiv, Manjukalam, Mohicha Penkutty, Uyarthezhunelpu, Maranam Durbalam nad more. In 1997 he made his debut film as a Cinematographer in Sammanam (1997 film), then he worked in Agnisakshi directed by Shyama Prasad. He has won many awards including the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Cinematography.
