Rolly Simon

Rolly Simon is an animator and GFX artist working in the Malayalam television industry. He currently works as a Senior Graphic Artist at MMtv, the parent company of the popular entertainment channel Mazhavil Manorama and Manorama News. He develops artworks and animations for the channel. Simon hails from Trichur, Kerala, and completed his schooling at St Johns HSS, Parrapur. He completed his undergraduate studies at St Thomas College, Thrissur, and continued with his Masters at the University of Calicut. After his studies, Simon worked at Shalom Television, a Malayalam evangelical channel.

He then worked at Jeevan TV and led the channel's GFX department. He briefly worked at Indiavision before moving on to work at MMTV. Simon mainly works in developing 3D animations and graphics. At MMTV, he creates title graphics for the various programs in their catalog. His graphic designs are characterized by vibrant elegance and cartoonish innocence. They have come to define the youthful language of channels such as Mazhavil Manorama. Along with his work in the Television industry, Simon remains passionate about canvas art and regularly makes 2D art as well, including caricatures, cartoons, and full-scale paintings.

In 2014, Simon exhibited his art collection named My Dark Lines, with his unique style and outlook being widely appreciated. Simon runs a YouTube channel and shares updates on his latest works through the channel.
