Reshma Krishnamurthy

Reshma Krishnamurthy is an Indian independent writer, radio jockey, storyteller, blogger, and story writer. She took a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Mumbai, Maharashtra. She did a diploma in Creative Writing from IGNOU. Also, Reshma Krishnamurthy had a diploma in Journalism from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication. She also achieved a certificate in Storytelling at Kathalaya. Later, Reshma did Elementary French course at Alliance Francaise. She is multilingual and can speak English, Kannada, French, and Hindi. Reshma has a son named Dhruv Krishnamurthy. She has been living in Bangalore, India.

From August 1997 to February 1999, she worked as a Client Servicing Executive at Adwit India. Her introduction to the advertising agency gave her a new insight into working with various clients. She engaged as a client servicing personnel, especially those from the government sector. After that, she worked as a Senior Consultant at MelCole Public Relations. Her responsibility was to execute essential PR functions, including organizing press conferences and PR events for the client and increasing media visibility for IT and non-IT clients. Also, she has worked in a couple of PR agencies as a Senior PR Consultant and PR Consultant. As a PR professional, she has handled PR activities for clients as an independent consultant throughout her stint. She has independently operated PR for plays, lifestyle exhibitions, etc.

She has also worked as an Assistant Communications Manager at Speciality Maternity Hospital in Bangalore, where she managed social media for the company and assisted events for the hospital. After five years of PR experience, she moved on to work as a Radio Jockey (RJ) at All India Radio, FM Rainbow 101.3MHz. Radio has changed her life entirely as it allowed her to be herself. She also engaged as an Independent writer under the name Reshma Krishnamurthy Sharma. She has written over sixty articles on children, women, pregnancy & parenting, society, and lifestyle. Some of her writings were also published in the media. Reshma Krishnamurthy is the founder-Editor of the Facebook platform Mums and Stories. She owns a website, mums and stories, which features true inspirational stories on mums.
