Maasthi Upparahalli is an Indian dialogue writer, screenwriter, and actor. He is most known for his work in Kannada films. In the Karnataka village of Kamta Upparahalli, Maasthi was born to Saraswathi and Chinnappa. He obtained a law degree, and in 2006, driven by his love of movies, he began working in the business. He also made a brief appearance in Devru. Maasthi began his writing career in 2006 for the Sadhu Kokila-helmed film Suntaragaali Tushar Ranganath, on which he collaborated with Duniya Soori as co-director. Afterward, he wrote the screenplay for the movie Ball Pen. Later in 2017, he began to write the script for the well-known Kaddipudi, directed by Duniya Soori. Also, she co-wrote the screenplay for Panchatantra, directed by Yogaraj Bhat.
