Sowmya Jaganmurthy is an Indian actress and producer best known for her work in the Kannada cinema industry. Sowmya has appeared in films such as Bhinna and Katha Sangama. She went to Bangalore University. Lucia (2013), Bhinna (2019), and Aadi Lakshmi Purana are Sowmya Jaganmurthy's films. She has a huge experience in dance and theatre. She taught regular creative arts courses and workshops to over 700 students at Parikrama, Golden Bead, Neev, Navkis, and Outreach. She worked as a performer and senior facilitator for Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts for almost three years, performing in London, Germany, Japan, and China and with theatre companies such as the Indian People's Theatre Association, Yours Truly, and We Move. Her talents are contemporary dance, Bharathanatyam, Yoga, Kalaripayattu, Body theatre, Acting, and Painting.
