Smitha Dixit is a popular radio jockey. She is also a columnist, Globetrotter, Opinion Maker, and a Food Connoisseur. Smitha Dixit is currently working in the radio station Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Smitha Dixit became famous after hosting the morning show in Radio Mirchi from 7 am to 11 am called Hi Bengaluru. Smitha Dixit did her schooling at St. Paul's English School located in JP Nagar in Bengaluru. She then did her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor's degree in Business/ Commerce. Smitha Dixit then started her career life first at AXA Business Service where she worked as a team member from July of the year 2003 to August of the year 2005. Smitha Dixit then joined Cross Domain Solutions in which she was a team leader from September of the year 2005 to June of the year 2006.
Her first experience as a radio jockey was in the year 2006 when she joined as a jockey and music manager at Radio One in June. Smitha Dixit worked at Radio One till August of the next year. After this experience, Smitha Dixit worked for the Radio Salaam Namaste as a radio jockey from September of the year 2007 to June of the year 2009. This radio station was based in Dallas. She has also worked as an HR at Gallop Technologies Ltd based in the US from May of the year 2008 up to November of the year 2009. After all these different jobs, Smitha Dixit has settled at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and is still working there. There, she joined as a radio jockey in the September of the year 2009 at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Smitha Dixit is interested and skilled in radio broadcasting, digital marketing, digital media, broadcasting, entertainment, new media, creative writing and many more. She can also voice over and voice act. On the morning time slot, the morning show by Smitha Dixit has the largest listenership. Among the jockey circle, Smitha Dixit is known as the thinking jockey. In her shows, she talks about the current issues and her opinions. When she worked in the US for two years, Smitha Dixit used to jock in English playing Hindi songs and talking about Indian problems.
