S D Aravinda is a Kannada film industry film director, producer, and music composer. In 2010, he did his debut as a film director from the film Jugari. This movie was on top 10 movies in Kannada film industry in 2010. He completed a Masters of Science in Mass Communication in 1998. After this, he entered the film industry.
He is the grandson of famous Kannada comedian Narasimharaju. He started his career with a show on Doordarshan named Haasya Chakravarti. This show was on his grandfather.
Hid debut was a documentary with Avalokana which is a video magazine. It was produced by the Information and Publicity Department, Government of Karnataka. He was the director and music composer of the film
