Neethu Shetty

Neethu Shetty, an Indian movie actress, was born on 2 September 1984 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She lived with her father Manjunath Shetty, her mother Mohini, and her sister. She completed her studies in Mangalore. She starred in the serial Punya by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar. She made her Kannada movie debut in Govinda Gopala in 2007. Since then, she has starred in other Kannada movies such as Yahoo, Joke Falls, Beru, etc. She has also done cameos in the movies Abhinetri and Fair and Lovely. Neethu made her Malayalam film debut in the film Photographer. She received the Best Supporting Actress award in Karnataka State Film Award for her role in the Tulu movie Koti Chennaya(2007). She also got nominated for the Best Supporting Actress in Filmfare Awards for her role in the blockbuster hit film Gaalipata in 2008.

Her other films include Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro, Aithalakkadi, 1888, Vajramukhi, Paaru I Love You, Mombathi, Amrutha Ghalige, etc. She has worked alongside famous actors like Ramesh Aravind, V. Ravichandran, Mohanlal, H. G. Dattatreya, Kishore Kumar G, Ganesh, Jaggesh, Doddanna, Anant Nag, and Diganth. Neethu Shetty is the first contestant in the history of Big Boss Kannada to survive 80 days in a secret room. She also has been part of television shows like the comedy show Bengaluru Benne Dose.
