Suraj Gowda

Suraj Gowda is a famous model turned Indian actor of Kannada origin. He is born to M. A. Prakash (commutes from the US) and Surekha V (A professor at a college). Suraj is popularly known as “Mysore Boy” and none of his family members belongs to the film industry. He has attended JSS Public School and has done graduation from Vishwarya Technological University with specialization in computer engineering. He is very handsome and having a height of 5 inches 10 cm. Suraj has worked as a Brand Ambassador for Tourism Coorg, Century Grande group of hotels, and Prashanth’s Photography. Before joining film industry, he has participated in many reality shows and contest, appeared in many advertisements of different languages and have done several ramp-walks. He has said that his interest in acting is more as compared to doing any corporate job. In the year 2009, he won the contest of “Mr. Mysore.” Again in 2011, Suraj participated and won a reality show Paradeshadalli Paradata telecasted in Zee Kannada. After the gap of two years (2013), he took part in a contest Mr. Karnataka and won it. The winning of a reality show in 2009, sparks his interest to choose to act as a career. Suraj made his acting debut with an art movie Yenanthiya. He acted as a lead role in this film. Suraj has also appeared as a lead in a music video album Ninade Baduku. Later, Gowda got many offers because of his role in Yenanthiya. His other movies are Kahi (Boiled Beans production), Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole, and many more. Kahi story has based on the realities of urban life in Bangalore, and he has paired opposite of Khusi, who has done a few Tamil movies. This film has directed by Arvind Shastry. His favorite actors in Bollywood are Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and in Sandalwood: Punneth Rajkumar and Ramya. These actors are not his role model; just they are favorites. Currently, Suraj is working in a Hindi film Adventure. Gowda is Better Known for his role in Yenanthiya, a Kannada art film and as Mr. Mysore.

Nikhil Kumar was born on July 15th, 1941, in Vaishali, Bihar, India. He is a Civil Servant, Administrator, Statesmen, Parliamentarian and Governor. He was born to Satyendra Narayan Sinha and Kishori Sinha. His father served as the Chief Minister of Bihar, expert leader of the Indian National Congress, a seven-term MP (Member of Parliament) and was from the Aurangabad constituency. His mother was the Member of Parliament for Vaishali. Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, Bihar’s first Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister is Nikhil’s grandfather. N.K. Singh, Rajya Sabha MP, is his brother-in-law. He was India’s Revenue Secretary and has also served as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister. Nikhil got married to Shyama Singh, Aurangabad Representative in Lok Sabha. Altogether, Nikhil comes from a political background. Nikhil Kumar studied in St. Xavier’s High School in Patna. He graduated with a M.A. degree in Modern History from Allahabad University. In 1963, he got into civil services. He became an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer, and was allocated to Delhi. Nikhil Kumar has held many important positions. He served as the Additional Director General of BSF (Border Security Force) from 1989 to 1991 and from 1992 to 1994. From January, 1995 to April, 1997, he was the Commissioner of Police in Delhi. Nikhil was the Director-General of ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police). From April 3rd, 1997, to December 3rd, 1999, he was the Internal Security (Special Home Secretary) of Government of India. Nikhil was the Director-General of National Security Guards from June 30th, 1999, to July 31st, 1901. Nikhil Kumar was the Member of National Security Advisory Board of Government of India from 2001 to 2003. He was elected from 2004 to 2009 to the 14th Lok Sabha. On 15th of October, 2009, Nikhil became the Governor of Nagaland and took the secrecy and oath as a Governor on the same day. He is also a member of the Committee of Governors. It was established by the Indian President to understand and suggest measures for enhancing profitability, competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of the agricultural segment of India. In Bhubaneshwar, at the national cultural festival Baisakhi Utsav, Nikhil was awarded the respected Neelachakra Samman held at Jayadev Bhawan. Nikhil Kumar was appointed as the Governor of Kerala by Pranab Mukherjee, the Indian President on March 9th, 2013. Within a short period, Nikhil was considered as “People’s Governor” because of his illustrious tenure. On 4th March 2014, he resigned as Governor Kerala to race for Lok Sabha Elections in Bihar from Aurangabad.
