(2018), Urvi (2017), Endedigu (2015), etc. Born on 20th April in Kadur, Chikmagalur, Karnataka to KC Dattatari and Geetha, Sathyaprakash had to share his schooling days between Hassan, Bangalore, and Kaduru. The fact that he was a professional cricketer before eventually stepping foot into the film industry is still unknown to many.

After completing his diploma from DVS Polytechnic College, Shimoga in Computer Sciences, Sathyaprakash shifted to Bangalore to pursue his further interest in Cricket. Soon enough, he found himself assisting the renowned director T.S. Nagabharana where he got the much-needed exposure that a filmmaker needs. Mostly known for his major involvement in Kannada TV series, short films, documentaries, dramas, and Sandalwood movies, Sathyaprakash has been a prominent part of the South Indian film industry for more than seventeen years now.

The year 2015 was a vital one for Sathyaprakash as he made his first decisive contribution on the silver screen with the movie Bhagyaraj, directed by Deepak. Since then, he has often been admired and applauded by numerous critics and spectators for the remarkable skills he showcases as a filmmaker, especially his eye for details and leadership qualities. The latest film project directed by Sathyaprakash is the social comedy-drama film Ondalla Eradalla, produced by Umapathy Srinivas.
