S. D. Arvind is one of most popular film director in the South Indian Film Industry. He mainly directs Kannada films. He started his career recently in the year 2010. His debut film was in the Kannada language was Jugari, which was released in the year 2010. Jugari rocked the box office in Kannada when it was released and because of its popularity and craze, this film featured in the list of the top ten Kannada films in 2010. Initially, Arvind started off his directing career by hosting and directing a show which was based on the life of his grandfather, and he took the help of his aunt to provide useful information and facts about his grandfather to the viewers. The show used to get aired on Doordarshan. The name of the show was Haasya Chakravarthi. Arvind has also directed a documentary film named Avalokana. He also featured in a video magazine which was produced by the I. and P. Department of the Government of Karnataka.
