Karan Ananth

Karan Ananth is a film director who works in the Kannada Film Industry. He studied Journalism, Psychology, and English Literature at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Bangalore, Karnataka. He pursued a Master of Science in Mass Communication from Manipal University, Bangalore. In his college, he was a part of many societies. He gained experience in documentary making, radio, TV scripting, and cinematography during his college days.

He worked as an Associate Director for the first-of-its-kind crime thriller film Gultoo. It is a Kannada film. The film was released in 2018. In his initial days Ananth also worked as a freelance photographer for The Hindu. He has also worked for some media houses.

Ananth has also worked in the making of documentaries. He worked for the documentary Good Guy Bad Guy as an Assistant Director.
