Ganesh Shetty

Ganesh Shetty is a director cum producer in the Indian entertainment industry. He was born in Belavi near Moodubidire, Karnataka. When he was 16, he went to Mumbai to pursue his dream job. He worked in the film processing unit, Adlabs’ canteen, where he got an opportunity to join the film industry. He joined Bollywood as a production executive in Outfit, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. He worked for RGV on many projects, including Sarkar, Ek Hasina Thi, Bhooth and Nishabd. He worked as an executive producer in Budhia Singh Born to Run in 2016.

In 2017, he directed a Tulu short film, Paroksh, which was based on the real-life incidents that happened in 2015. Amit Sial and Pooja Naik played the lead roles. Yatin Karyekar and Pramod Shetty were also cast in this short film, which turned out to be a super hit.  The same year, he worked as the line producer for the film Newton, featuring Rajkummar Rao. In 2018, he made another short film, Bete. Babu Shetty and Netravathi Shetty played the lead roles. In 2022, Ganesh was the executive producer of the film Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega. The next year, he co-produced the film Madhyantara, directed and produced by Dinesh Shenoy.

In 2024, he was the executive producer for The Fable, directed by Raam Reddy. Manoj Bajpayee, Priyanka Bose, Deepak Dobriyal, and Tillotama Shome are seen in the lead roles.
