Gangavathi Pranesh

Gangavathi Pranesh, popularly known as Gangavathi Beechi and Junior Beechi is a talented artist hailing from the taluka Gangavathi, North Karnataka, India. He is a standup comedian performing mainly in Kannada. Pranesh is often seen sharing his life experiences through his hilarious speeches.

Pranesh's comical timing and the way of delivering speeches in his very north Karnataka style has made him immensely well known amongst the Kannada speaking people. Pranesh has traveled across 11 countries, namely United States, Dubai to name a few.

He has given performed around 3500 programs across 400 places in Karnataka. Beechi - the well known Kannada writer and Dr Rajkumar are his biggest inspirations. Pranesh says he never saw Beechi but his books motivated him.

Pranesh appeared as a guest on 'Harate' a popular talk show on Udaya TV. He started 'Hasya Utsava' or humor festival in Karnataka along with other artists.

Further, he has also written books in his unique style some of them include Nakkava Geddava, Nagisuvavana Novugalu, Vaagbaanagalu, Pranesh Payana, and Pranesh Punch. He has won about 30 awards and honored with several titles including Kannadada Hasya Ratna, Kannadada Anmol Ratna, Hasya Ranjini, etc.
