Tripuramba (1910–1979) was an Indian theatre and film artist. She started working for the Kannada film industry and is still remembered for her role in Sati Sulochana, released in 1934. With the release of the film, she became the first Kannada film heroine. She also acted in the theatres and sang various songs. She worked only on a few films, like Sati Sulochana in 1934 and Purandardasa in 1937. She did theatre and sang songs also but was not so much involved in acting for long. She married Venugopal, who also belonged to South India, and after that, she died in 1979 at the age of 69.
