Sukrutha Deshpande

Sukrutha Deshpande is an Indian actress. She works in Kannada and Telugu movie/television industry, strongly known for her lead role in the movie 'Preethiya Raayabhari. Born on 27th December, Sukrutha grew up in Bangalore, India. Originally named as Anjana Despande, she switched her screen name to Sukrutha Deshpande. While she was in her college, Sukrutha hosted many television shows, hoping she would get acting opportunities. Through the shows, she got an offer to act in a serial called Rajakumari in one of the leading roles.

In 2014, Sukrutha made her film debut with the Telugu movie 'Nenu Naa friends.' After the release, she took a hiatus from acting. In 2016, she appeared in a supporting role in the Kannada film 'Tharle nan Maklu,' directed by Rakesh. Sukrutha got roped in to play one of the leading roles in the Kannada movie 'Preethiya Raayabhari,' directed by M M Muthu and it released in 2018. It received unanimously positive feedback from both critics and audiences.
