Artist and curator Shiva Pathak is from Bangalore, India. She ran for office in the 2018 International Participant Forum. Along with Nimi Ravindran, Shiva Pathak founded Sandbox Collective as an actor, arts manager, and production company. She has almost 15 years of experience in the theatre, working in a variety of roles. Her involvement with the performing arts began while she was a college student working as a production manager and actress. Before establishing Sandbox Collective in 2013, she has since collaborated on projects with some of India's top art institutions, such as Ranga Shankara, Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, and India Foundation for the Arts. She serves on the board of Toto Funds the Arts, an organization that supports and fosters young artists in India. She is also a fellow at Art Think South Asia.
