Abhijit Purohit is a native of Gadag, Karnataka, where he was born and raised for a short period. He went to Bangalore, where he received his primary education. Abhijit Purohit had schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, IISc & KV Meg Bangalore. He also went to KVIISC and SJRC, Bangalore, to complete his higher education. He is working as an actor for the channel Colors Kannada. Abhijit Purohit is famously known for working in films like Innuendo (2012; portrayed the role of Range Gowde) and Supari - The Quest Begins Now (2014; portrayed the role of Inspector Ashok). Besides being an actor, Abhijit Purohit attended various TV programs like the VIM STAR PAAKA program on Udaya TV, where he discussed the complete journey of his TV career. Abhijit Purohit is also associated with the TV series Arundhati on ETV Kannada.
