Dhruv Sangari is an Indian vocalist who has worked in several movies and series. Dhruv is also known as Bilal Chishty Sangari. He has also got the nickname Prince of Qawwali. He is a Sufi and Classical Indian vocalist, composer, lyricist, savant and teacher. Dhruv is the son of well-known scholar and author Kumkum Sangari and noted painter Mahendra 'Manu' Sangari. At the age of seven, Sangari started his training from Shahana Bannerjee and Ustad Iqbal Ahmad Khan. He got trained in playing Tabla from B.S. Ramanna. After few years, he got inclined towards Sufi music and got training in qawwali from Ustad Meraj Ahmed Nizami and Nizamuddin Auliya. He studied at the University of Delhi and learned Hindustani classical music. In the year 2008, he scripted and anchored a show in the DD Urdu channel named Raagon ki Haseen Duniya. He later made a band called Humble mystic and they really took classical music to another level.
