In 1997, he was starred on Sanjay Khan’s television series, Jai Hanuman; a story that portrays the life of the Hindu God, Hanuman. Raj played the role of Hanuman along with Irrfan Khan and Siraj Mustafa Khan. He also acted as Kans/Kongsho on Sagar Pictures’ Jai Shri Krishna on Colors. In 2010, the actor played the main negative lead as Surya Narayan Singh in the drama serial, Matti Ki Banno on Colors.
