Rajat Barjatya was a Bollywood film producer and former MD of Rajshri Media. He was the cousin of the well-known director as well as producer Sooraj Barjatya known for his films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Vivah, etc. Rajat was born to Ajit Kumar Barjatya. He was Ajit Kumar Barjatya’s only son. He was married to Neha Barjatya. They have two children. Kashvee Barjatya is his daughter. She is known for writing the book called Lost in the Woods. Rajat was a cancer patient for a long time.

He passed away on 29 July 2016 fighting with cancer at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. He is survived by his two children and wife, Neha Barjatya. Rajat stepped into Hindi film industry in 1994. He was the associate producer for the movie, Hum Aapke Hain Koun…! It was a blockbuster movie with the cast of Salman Khan, Renuka Shahane, Madhuri Dixit, Mohnish Bahl, Reema Lagu, Alok Nath, Anupam Kher, etc. His brother, Sooraj Barjatya was the director and writer of this movie. His next venture as an associate producer was the 1999 hit movie, Hum Saath Saath Hain.

The movie was a super hit with star studded cast of Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Sonali Bendre, Karishma Kapoor, Mohnish Bahl, Tabu, Satish Shah, Alok Nath, etc. This movie was again directed by Sooraj Barjatya. In 2002, he produced the movie called Hum Pyaar Tumhi Se Kar Baithe. Jugal Hansraj, Tina Rana, Vishnu Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, etc. were in the movie. The film was written as well as directed by Mohan Singh Rathor. Rajat’s major venture as a producer was in 2004 with the film, Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai.

It was a movie with Akshay Anand, Sammir Dattani, Nitin Arora, etc. in it. Puja Kanwal was the lead in the film. He was the associate producer of movies like Shaashu Ghara Chaalijibi (2006), Vivah (2006) starring Shahid Kapoor as well as Amrita Rao, Isi Life Mein (2010), etc. In 2011, the movie Love U… Mr. Kalakaar! was released. Rajat was the executive producer of the movie.

The main lead was portrayed by Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Rao. Other than them, Prem Chopra, Ram Kapoor, Madhoo, etc. were also in the movie. In the same year, Jaana Pehchana was released. Rajat was the executive producer of this film too. Birbal, Ranjeeta Kaur, Sachin, etc. were in this film. His latest venture as a producer was Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. It was released in 2015 with actors like Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, etc. in it.

Sunil Mehta is a renowned film and TV producer who owned Cinevistaas Limited, a film and television production company which he established along with a partner Prem Krishen Maholtra in 1993. The duo rolled out many television serials on Doordarshan. Remember the actor Prem Krishen, who made his career through Rajshri's movie 'Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye' along with Rameshwari in 1997? After his sluggish career in film industry, the actor formed a team of professional managers who handled the core management and strategy team of Cinevista. Prem was also the son of former actor Prem Nath and his wife who was also an actress named Bina Rai. Currently, Sunil Mehta is the founding member of Cinevista ltd along with Mr. Malhotra. Mr. Mehta started his career in the film distribution sector, and later on, he turned into scripting commercials and television programming too. In 2002, he produced his first film 'Yeh Mohabbat Hai' starring Rahul Bhatt and Akanksha Malhotra. Umesh Mehra directed the film. His third movie that Sunil Mehta had produced was 'Garv: Pride and Honour' which had Salman Khan, Amrish Puri, and Shilpa Shetty. It was a film directed by Hindi film villain Puneet Issar. In the year 2003, his second movie was 'Sssshhh...’ which was a 2003 Hindi horror - suspense thriller Most of the movies, he has produced have not done well at the box office. However, the films in which Mr. Mehta has acted had proved to be more successful in his career. Although he appeared in the minor role in movies like 'Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye,' ‘Hamare Tumhare’ and 'Alibaba Marjinaa.’ In the year 2008, Sunil Mehta and Premi Kishen jointly produced a TV serial 'Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah' for Zee TV. Krishan Sethi and Manish Singhania directed the TV series. The script was written by Anshuman Sinha and dialogues were written by, Akashaditya Lama, The TV Series had a total of 208 episodes. In the year 2017, Prem Kishen and Suni Mehta again jointly produced a TV series 'Beyhadh' on Sony Entertainment Television India and Sony Entertainment Television, Asia. Vikram V. Labhe and Suyash Vadhavkar directed the series. This serial was dubbed in Tamil too and titled as ‘Maya’ In Polimer TV, and the series has ended on 15.1.2018. His colleague Prem Kishen was an assistant director of the actor-director Raj Kapoor and Vijay Anand. Mr. K.B. Nai and Ms. Kilpa Goradia are the chief financial officer and company secretary of Cinevistas. The studio has done commercials for Kajaria Times. Aban Raza

Aban Raza is an Indian filmmaker and contemporary artist. She was born in 1989. She is known for her serigraphic prints and sketches. She is critically acclaimed for her work in the movie M Cream. Aban is the daughter of renowned art historian Dr. Nuzhat Kazmi. She studied at Springdales School in New Delhi. She earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts and Master in Fine Art degrees from the College of Art in New Delhi. She is presently pursuing a scholarship at Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi. Aban’s artworks explore the theme of social movements, protests, and rebellion. She believes in using art to spread awareness and explore multiple perspectives of human existence. Some of her works include ‘Roses in a Cupboard.’ Her paintings have featured in exhibitions like ‘On The Threshold of Time III’ in April 2013 at the Art Heritage Gallery in New Delhi and Contemporary Artworks (inspired by Bollywood) in December 2013 at the Art Heritage Gallery in New Delhi. Aban collaborated in the direction of the English movie ‘M Cream’ with director and writer Agneya Singh for the production company Agniputra Films in 2014. She also provided additional photographs for the film. The movie was about a group of college students going on a journey to find a legendary form of hash. The film won the Cult Feature award at The Queen City Film Fest in the US in 2014, the Best Foreign Feature Award at the Indie Spirit Film Festival in the US in 2014, the Platinum Remi award at the Worldfest – Houston International Film Festival in 2014, the Yellow Rose award at the Jaipur International Film Festival in 2015, and the Platinum Award at the International Independent Film Awards in 2015. Aban received the Grand Prize shared with Agneya under the Best Feature Film category at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2014. The movie was first screened on 10th August 2014 at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. The movie was featured at several film festivals between 2014 and 2015 including the Chicago South Asian Film Festival, the Film Columbia Festival, the Seattle South Asian Film Festival, the Florence River To River Film Festival, the Delhi International Film Festival, and many others in the USA, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Italy and India. The film hit the screens in India on 22nd July 2016. The movie was lauded as India’s first stoner film by several critics worldwide.
