Faltu is an Indian drama serial that premiered in 2022 on Star Plus. The story focuses on a girl named Faltu Singh; after giving birth to stillborn twin sons and a daughter, Faltu's parents were disheartened to have another girl and thus named their fourth child Faltu which means useless. Faltu is a village girl who doesn't hold back on her passion for cricket because of gender stereotypes. Faltu's life takes a blissful turn when Ayaan, a wealthy businessman and proficient cricketer, identifies her talent and gives her the required coaching.
Ayaan Mittal, who was engaged to Tanisha decides to train Faltu after observing her skills and dedication to the sport and thus brings her to Mumbai with him. Later, Faltu achieved recognition and was selected in the Women's National Cricket team. However, when she went for a routine check-up, she was informed by the doctor that she would lose her vision in three months. Faltu kept this information to herself as she didn't want to be a burden for Ayaan amidst his wedding preparations.
The story escalates when Ayaan's family learns that he has eloped Faltu from her wedding and disapproves of her living with their family. Faltu becomes homeless and later gets kidnapped. Who kidnapped Faltu? What will happen next? Watch to find out.
