According to the recent reports, director Anil Sharma Anil Sharma is an Indian film producer and directo >> Read More... has locked the script for the sequel to the 2007 sports family drama, which starred Dharmendra and his sons in prominent roles. Dharmendra, as well as his sons turned emotional on reading the script.

However, the director hasn’t confirmed when the work would begin. After the blockbuster success of Gadar 2, Anil Sharma has taken up multiple projects, including a possible entry like Gadar 3 as well.

Interestingly, this has come at a time when the entire Deol family has re established their legacy in Indian cinema. While Dharmendra continues to occasionally appear in prominent movies despite turning 90, Sunny, as well as Bobby have reinvented their careers with movies like Gadar 2 and Animal respectively.
