Rakesh Sawant is an Indian Film Director and the brother of the famed model, politician, dancer, television host, and television and film actress,
. His parents are Anand Sawant and Jaya Bheda and his other sister, Usha Sawant is also an actress. He began his career in the film industry as a director of the Hindi film Maut Ka Khel ,released on January 1, 2001. The film starred Asrani, Abhay Bhargav,
and Sudhir. He did not direct any movie for the next five years. In 2006, he directed a thriller film “Hello? Kaun Hai!” starring
, Adam Bedi,
and Meera Vasudevan.
