Rajat Bedi is a well-known Indian Actor, as he has acted in numerous Bollywood films. He is known for playing strong man image and has quite a reputation for negative roles. He is the son of Filmmaker Narendra Bedi and is famous for his acting skills in the movies such as Koi Mil Gaya, where he played the role of the fiancé of actress Preity Zinta. He has acted in films such as Life Mein, Kabhie Kabhiee, where he played the role of and was admired for his role.In the movie Jaan-E-Mann 2006 he played an intense roll, in the 2007 movie Partner he played the role of Neil Bakshi, he acted in the movie Aksar, that was released in the year 2006 where he played the role of a cop named Steve Bakshi.He has been an integral part of numerous other films.

Rajat a few years ago said to the media, that he was not satisfied with the roles coming his way, and hence he moved to Canada with his family, where he started his own business. He told that he was not making enough money, and the decision was taken considering the money he would be making in Canada. However, after a long gap of seven years, he recently announced that he is planning to make a comeback to Bollywood. He has a brother Manik Bedi, who is a film producer, and is well known for his movies. Rajat has a sister named Ira Bedi, and his wife Monalisa is the sister of good looking Indian actress , who has acted in many Bollywood movies making a name for herself. They have two children, a son named Vivaan and daughter named Vera.
