Nupur Asthana is an Indian director and has directed several TV shows and movies for the Bollywood industry. Her work became preeminent after her successful television series ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ in 1998. She was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, but brought up in Kolkata and later in Hyderabad. She did her graduation from Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi and did her post-graduation from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai in social communication media.
