Vahide Gordum

Vahide Perçin is a Turkish actress and a widely known for her work in television shows. Vahidw was born on 13 June 1965 in Karşıyaka İzmir, to a family of Rumelian Turkish ancestry. Her father was a truck driver, and her mother a housewife. She studied graphic designing in high school and then entered the Faculty of Economics, later she realized her passion and started acting. Vahide then attended Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts and passed all the nine exams of its Theatre School. She finished her studies as the best student and received great support from her teacher, Özdemir Nutku. Later, she received an offer from the State Theatre and then moved to Adana.

She has performed in many films such as (2005)Anlat İstanbul, 2006 İlk Aşk Nevin, 2007 İyi Seneler Londra, 2008 Devrim Arabalar, 2011 Zefir Ay, 2012 Ayhan Hanım, 2019 Kapı Şemsa. Tv shows such as Bir İstanbul Masalı, Hırsız Polis, Adını Feriha Koydum, Merhaba Hayat Deniz Korel, Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Göç Zamani, Bir Zamanlar Çukurova Hünkar Yamat. She also has a remarkable portfolio in theater shows as well, some of the famous ones are Yer Demir Gök Bakır, 403 Kilometre, Pazar Keyfi, Şeytan Örümceği, Play the Game Michael Frayn, Peace Aristophanes, Köse Dağın Köprüs, Ayrılık Behiç Ak, Kızılırmak Karakoyun, Extraordinary Night, Little Martial Crimes.

During her career, she has won many accolades for her outstanding feats, like the Art Institute Award for Best Actress in 1996, the 14th International Adana Film Festival for Best Actress in 2007, Magazine Journalists Association: Gold Lens Awards for Best Theater Actress in 2007 and last but not the least Radio and Television Society Journalists of the Year Awards for Actress of the Year in 2008.
